# Get Current Status

GET https://sandbox-api.deliveryapp.com/api/v1/orders/{orderId}/status

A lightweight endpoint dedicated to returning an order's current status.

Generally, utilising webhooks is the recommended approach, but this endpoint can be used if your client needs to take the polling approach.
