Delivery Statuses
The “status” of a delivery reflects how far along the job is. Different job types will have different statuses because of the variations in how they are undertaken, but retrieving the status from the API will always be consistent.
You can read about the different types of deliveries here.
Dedicated/Multi-drop Deliveries
Awaiting
Your delivery is on our platform and has been pushed out to the driver network, but it has not yet been accepted by a driver.
Expired
Your delivery wasn’t accepted by a driver on the platform in time so the job was removed from the listings.
A delivery job will expire and be hidden from drivers when the current time passes the latest time in your pick-up window. For example, if your delivery job is to be picked up between 10am and 11am, the job will expire at 11am.
Accepted
A driver on our platform has seen the job and committed to fulfilling the delivery.
It is possible for drivers to “drop” a job, which means they can no longer commit to undertaking the delivery. When this happens, the status will revert to Awaiting.
In progress
The driver has started the undertaking the delivery. The delivery will change to this status when the driver starts making their way to the first pick-up location.
Completed
The driver has successfully undertaken the delivery job; all pick-ups and drop-offs have been handled.
Cancelled
The delivery job has been cancelled by the customer. No cancellation fees will apply.
Read our cancellation policy for more information on when cancellation fees are applied.
Cancelled, charged
